Basic Aircraft Products, Inc.  was founded in 1987 by Ron Cox, a successful aerospace engineer for Bendix/Honeywell.  In 1991 he retired early to focus on developing and perfecting the TurboAlternator which stands today as the worlds only certified ram air turbine (RAT) for general aviation aircraft.  Over the 30+ years of operation, Basic Aircraft Products has delivered over 1,200 TurboAlternators to customers all over the world.

 

Sadly, Ron Cox passed away in Oct 2021.  James Aarestad has taken the business over and has moved operations from Evans, Georgia to Buffalo, Minnesota.
